Are you up for a bit of a challenge? A little fun and sharing some creativity? Great! Then come and join us in our new monthly ‘write-in’ feature that will launch this coming Sunday and happen on the last Sunday of the month after that.
The idea is simple. Each Sunday morning, we’ll post some word prompts and maybe a couple of pictures to get you started. All you have to do is write a piece – a couple of paragraphs, a poem, short story (less than 2,500 words), whatever takes your fancy really – using all of the words given. Pop your piece on your own blog (head it up with the banner above and link back to the post on here) and then come back here and share a link to your post in the comments of the ‘Sunday Write-Up’ post for that month. Then people can visit other blogs to check out the writing and let you know what they think π Think of it as a ‘virtual writing group’ that get’s together once a month. Challenge yourself to do something a little different – step outside your normal style or genre – and join us this weekend for our first feature.

Sounds like a blast!
Glad you like the sound of it – I’ll bet you’ll be up for the challenge π
This sounds like so much fun. Count me in!
Yay! π Look forward to seeing what you do. Thanks for sharing on Twitter. Check out the Indie month we’re running for authors in July – we’ve a few spots left if you’d like to join us, just drop us an email.
Well, in theory, I’ll give it a go, whether I actually manage to follow through is open to question…
Ha ha π even if you manage a couple of paragraphs, that counts
I also hope I remember …… old brain is not what it used to be these days :-S
Guess who forgot…..doh
Ha ha, I did think that earlier today π
When I was discussing this with a friend, the fool asked me “How do you link back to your post?” after I had finished laughing, I realised that “I” did not know how. so a double doh on that one!
Just drop a link to your post on your blog in the comments to the ‘Write up’ post… Nice and easy, so no excuses next month π
Thanks. As you say “no excuses next month.” π
